There’s been speculation along these lines for some time now, but now it is official: Pixar is ending their lucritive distribution agreement with Disney. Let’s face it: Pixar has been batting a thousand with their films– Toy Story, Bug’s Life, Toy Story 2, Monsters, Inc., and most recently Finding Nemo were all excellent films, and were all on the list of most successful films ever. However, can Pixar go it alone without Disney’s marketing muscle and massive distribution machine? Well, we finally get to find out.
